Grace Rusk won the medal for the best essay on "Lincoln"
offered by the Illinois Watch Company.
Note: Grace married Charles Owen Utterback 23 Aprl 1938 in Crawfordsville with Rev. Paul Million officiating. One son, Phillip Carl was born to them in 1939 then they moved to Yavapai, Arizona later on. Unknown whether they had other children.
